Show First date of current month in text field

Hi all, I have a form for reports where you input the start date and end date in two fields for the reports. How can I automatically show the 1st day of the current month in a text field? Thanks

Do you mean one of these:

[tt]Date - Day(Date) + 1
DateSerial(Year(Date),Month(Date),1)[/tt]

Or

[tt]Format(Date - Day(Date) + 1,"dddd")[/tt]
