Hello,
I wrote a program in vb 6 to show some data reports getting data from access. I also installed a copy on my laptop. The program works fine on the pc but not on the laptop since there is no printer attached to it. The msdn library says that you need a printer to show the report, but there is any way to bypass this problem ?
All I want to do is to see the data ( no changes of any type).
Thanks
Paolo

Have you tried going through the motions of installing a printer you don't actually have? We have used this mechanism in a different scenario successfully - i.e. we just told Windows XP we had a particular printer attached to the parallel port. After that we could preview the report OK.
