Good day,

I have 30 tables that contain product information.
The first 5 fields in every table are the same.

Other fields in the tables however vary. Some may have 2 others fields while others have 20 other fields.

I am wondering if there is a simply way to show the records from all 30 tables in one large table.

Please let me know if you need extra information. Thanks!

A query linking the tables together? On the five fields that will be the same.

Katy,

I don't think he means that the information in the first five fields is the same, he means that the NAME of the first five fields in each table is the same.

I think this is in continuation of Thread700-927414

Yes it is a continuation of that somewhat.

I have been given different data now and I will be required to put all products into one large table.

I didn't want to post it in the same place simply because the requirements are different now.

I need to have all tables in one.

Any ideas?
Thanks!

Ideas? Well, yes.

1. If the fields have the same names, but not the same data, change the names. All data should be unique.
2. If this seems like a daunting task, this does not change its importance. Investigate Speed Ferret, it is very reasonably priced, and is just the thing to help for universal search and replace in Access.
3. If you have multiple tables, and just want to seethe data together you design a query to do that.
4. If you are asking a question about this, I have to wonder if something else is involved that is not stated in your question. Are reports involved, forms, input, output, what? Please elaborate, and be specific. Thanks.
