Hi ! Urgent help required.
I have been successfully using VFP 6.0 (English) for data storage and application interface and Crystal Reports 8.0 (English) for reporting from VFP. Now I have to create tables in VFP to store arabic names and numbers and to show the same in crystal report. I have created a table with codepage 1256 and could store arabic alphabets, but have 2 issues
1. when numbers are typed, it is not showed in arabic. why ? and
2. How can I show the Arabic text from the above VFP table in crystal reports 8.0.? I normally use the FOX2X file format as the data file for crystal reports, but I have tried to show the table with arabic text in the same way in crystal, but the report is showing some other charaters. I have already made the Arabic (saudi) as the language to match the non-unicode programs in Regional settings of windows XP.
when I open the database in Crystal Reports Designer and browse, it is not showing in Arabic (but in different characters), but the same table opened in VFP shows correctly in Arabic. Please help.
