Show an email as read on users machine and a delegates machine

Hi

We use Exchange 5.5 and Outlook 2000.

Problem: User has a secretary who looks after email and calendar appointments. The user gets a copy of all the email sent to the owner of the mailbox. When the owner reads an email, I need exchaneg/outlook to update the delegates email aswell to show the item has been read. Is this possible?

Rather than forward duplicate copies of appointments and email to the secretary, give her/him access to her boss's mailbox. That way, everything she does is the same as if the boss did it!

The boss must give express permission (get it in writing), and should be aware of what this means!!
