Hello,

I'm new to crystal 8.5 and I'm trying to write a report that would show previous month end market values. I have a start and end date parameter in my report, but I'm not sure how to get all of the dates to show. I have figured out how to put in the start and end date market values, but I need month ends. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Katie

To limit data to the period specified by start and end date, use something like this in the record selection formula (report->Edit selection formula->Record):

{Table.date} = {?daterangeparm}

To perform summaries by the month, insert a group into the report based on the date field (Insert->Group->The Section Will Be Printed For Each Month).

Now you can place fields in the details, right click them, and select insert->Summary->sum/count/etc. and they will automatically do so at the Month level.
