I have a Crystal Report in version 11 that shows projects grouped by Client then by Status which has three possible values (pipeline, signed, and losses). If any of the three Status have no records my boss would like a blank row in the group by to show up anyway. Any ideas on how to do this?

Well since you wouldn't have any data, you'll have to fabricate it, or manually code out every possibility, which is time consuming.

One means might be to create an additional table which has the 3 statuses, and do a left outer join to your current data.

Hard to say without knowing technical information, you don't even post your dtaabase type when asking about data.

Given the requirements and your approach, I'd get with your dba to try to create an accurate data source.
