I have a Cross Tab that show 2 types of values per category, one of them is a target or a limit and other one is the real value, both of them I selected of my DB.

I want to have a background colour if real value is less than limit and other colour if is is greater than.

How could I do this.

I will appreciate any help
Thanks in advace

What version of Crystal are you using? I know in 8.5 (not rure what version it goes back to) you can use the highlighting expert to accomplish this. Select the summarized field, right click, and choose Highlighting Expert. Another option would be to write a formula in the X+2 for the background color of the summarized field in your cross tab.

I am using CR 8.5, I use X+2 formula editor in background color but, I don not know why doesn not work, the formula that I have is:
if {V_CHART_MEASURES.DATAS} < {V_CHART_MEASURES.TARGET} then crLime else crRed

The problem when I use Highlighting Expert is that I can not select the limit data of my DB, I can only select a custom data and is the same in all cross tab, and I need that H.E. use the limit data of my DB.

thanks.
