groupwise 6.5.1 system
had to change server ip address
modified the network address on the mta
rebuild the domain as well
link configuration reflects the change but the domain will not communicate to the other domains

the domain will only be needed for another week as we are migrating it across to diferent domains

are there fudge commands that i can use like the old /mtp to get it working in the short term or will i need to rebuild the primary domain and then the domain in question to get the comms up ?

Under the Primary's MTA screens Configuration Status screen does it show the right IP and port for the domain in question (ie. 123.234.98.23 [7100])? And what does the Configuration Status screen show as to what the current closure reason is? For example is it that the "Link or Transport is down". We have had this problem a couple of times. Once it was just a matter of deleting the link and re-establishing it, evidently it was just a bad or corrupt link.

rebuild of 2 of the doms fixed it

was a bit weird - console1 was correct everywhere - and i mean even connecting to the other doms and checking links

but servers screen reflected old
