Just a helpful hint on how much effort to give to memorizing IRQs, DMAs, and Memory Addresses.

IRQ's
You need to know the 16 IRQs, which really aren't that hard to memorize considering some are left open and 2 and 9 are virtually the same.
Be sure to know that IRQ2 cascades to IRQ9.(one of the most common IRQ questions)
Know the IRQs for the COM Ports.
Also know how many IRQs multiple USB devices use.(Also a common test question)

DMAs
I wouldn't spend much time here. Know the function of DMAs.

Memory Addresses
You need only concentrate on the memory addresses for the COM and LPT Ports and Floppy and Hard Drive controllers.

I have been asked many a question about what to know when it comes to these 3 subjects so I Hope this helps.

Good Luck
