We have an installation where we have Win2000 machines (several users per box) connecting to a Metaframe 1.8 Citrix server. When the users connect it was taking 73 seconds to connect to the server(we are using published apps) When we added the users to the Powers users group on the box the connection went down to 23 seconds. Anyone have any insight on this?

It is not necessary to give power user permissions to ordinary users - if it makes a difference to the login times, maybe there is a permissions error in a folder referred to in the login script. Check that area first.

I hope this helps
