I have been studying the Mike Myers Passport A+ certification guide, and had heard that it was going to cover what i needed to pass the certification test, with little room for failure, no courses or anything else will be needed, so I guess my question is, will this book really cover enough, or should I invest in something else? Is a course really necessary? I can recognze components internally, set jumpers, troubleshoot softare and hardware, and I am pretty good at the logic of how and why. Any help?

Thank You for the sites, I am wondering, when I start to pass all the practice test, is that a good sign that I am ready for the test, or just my memorization skills are up to par?

Just use tyhe practice tests as a metric to gauge you knowledge. Pour over the exam objectives until you are confident in your knowledge. Don't just keep taking the practice tests until you have the answers memorized. I always tend to overstudy. That gives you a little safety factor and besides, knowledge gained is a plus.

A+,N+,S+,L+,I+,HTI+,CET,CST,CNST,CNCT,CFOT,CCNT,ACSP,ISA CCST3

Last question (I hope) What format will the exam look like?

Multiple choice, can I skip questions?, how many must i get correct out of the total to pass? there is probably a web site for all of these questions, so if you dont feel like explaining just point me to it!

ok nevermind, i am a ding bat , found all the answers, ......umm yeah...ding bat.

any site that has an A+ exam that scores like the real one, like a mock a+ exam?
