I have an ASP.NET application that allows the user to print reports and displays the reports on a CrystalReportsViewer control. The report was created in Crystal Reports 10 and was later on added to the ASP.NET application.
In the Crystal Designer, the option "Save Data with Report" is automatically selected but the database contained only a few records during this time. Additional data is added to the database through the ASP.NET application. However, when the report is viewed, it displays only the that was present when the report was saved.
To solve the problem, I deselected the "Save Data with Report" option, but this introduced another problem. When the report is viewed, I get a page saying that I need more information to connect to the requested report, and I'm given an option to enter a user id and a password.
Am I missing something ? Please someone shed some light!
Thanks!
JC
