Should I go for SP2?

Hi all,

I keep getting prompts from windows update to install SP2. I am running on XP pro. I just want to know whether does it have any bugs as in are there any probs in installing them, or playing games or running any application?

I heard the security system becomes good with SP2? What do u all suggest?

Upgrade. Just be sure that your system is clean (absolutely no virus or spyware!). I would suggest the free CD approach to avoid any possibilities of download corruption.

All the new XP CD's have SP2 already included in them. So you might as well install it now too.

I agree with all the above. It's worth it to move to SP2, there have been a some issues but there always are with new service packs and I haven't seen any that I'd consider a "Show stopper".
