Should I convert Access 2000 app (with mail merge) to 2010 to run on 2013?

I have a small single-user app (one main data entry screen with subforms and several reports with export to Excel option) that was written and deployed in Access 2000. Amazingly the app is still in use and they recently requested a few report modifications so I am opening the code for the first time in years. This customer is now running Access 2013 and has not had problems running the Access 2000 version.

Looking for advice on the pros and cons of keeping it in 2000 versus converting the app to 2010 (lowest platform in the mix) given it will be used mostly on 2013. Part of me thinks “of course, upgrade it” but part of me thinks “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it”—thoughts?

The most complicated thing this app does is a mail merge report using Word, which is not working smoothly in the current version. I am looking for a better way to do this since this report is used frequently and the user has to go thru 6+ clicks to produce their mailing today.

Also if I convert are there any key references I need to add or turn off?

Many thanks!!
