I know nothing about ActiveX Controls.
I recently went into the chat section of an MSN Group and instantly got a download (pending a "Smiley Face") for MSN Chat. The XP SP2 pop-up blocker displayed "click here to download ActiveX Control for MSN Chat 9.2.310.2401". Which I did. If I am not really going to chat, should I remove this or turn something off? And if so, how? Or is it ok to leave it alone.
Also, is it possible to completely disassociate my MSN passport with my XP username? And if so, how? I have tried but there seems to be a lingering link. If I click My Groups, it seems I am logged in. Thank you.
