Should grind work on Aloha demo?

I have a VM with an Aloha 6.7.14 demo installed. The basic stuff works, including Aloha Manager and taking orders and making cash payments (under $10). Now I'm trying to test the end-of-day "grind" process, because I want to work with some of the DBF files it creates. I'm getting various errors when attempting to do this, so before I go to too much trouble, can someone tell me if it "should" work on a demo version of Aloha, or does it require a HASP/key/full version?

Not without a key. That is the limitation of running without a key. you can test menus, events, and any other FOH function, but not EOD or grind.
