Should be easy, but never is.

I have a Table with Part Number, Supplier Code and Value that I am pulling into a COGNOS 8.4 Query Studio query.

One part number may be made by a few different suppliers.
I want to see each part number that I filter for in a prompt. For each Part number, I want to see, rolled up, each supplier code one time, with a total value for each Supplier code.

I did Part number in the left column, Supplier Code in the middle column and Value in the right column, then I GROUPED by Part number.

I appears to work, but I see multiple occurrences of the same supplier code with most parts. So I will see 5 lines of suppliers, but, in fact, there are only 3 unique. How do I get the SUPPLIER Codes to group like COGNOS grouped by Part number?

Thanks

What are the aggregate settings for the value you mention? If no aggregate is set, then you will see individual lines instead of grouped data..
