Dear All, im using IP Office 500 vs 8.1 with embbeded voice mail.

I have 2 autoattendants in the system. One is reproduced if you call between 9:00 and 18:00 hours. The other one is reproduced if you call at any other time of the day.

I would like to know if is there any shortcode that can change the autoattendant. Supose that the company allows employees to leave two hours before 18:00 Hs. They need to change manually the autoattendant and i dont know how... any idea of how can i resolve this problem??

Regards

Create two shortcodes like
*99/"AA:FirstAA"/AutoAttendant/0
*98/"AA:SecondAA"/AutoAttendant/0

Create 2 users UsrAA1 and UsrAA2 and set unconditional forward to *99 and *98.
Create two sequential groups, GrpAA1 and GrpAA2 and add UsrAA1 in GrpAA1 and add UsrAA2 in GrpAA2.

Creat a third sequential group AASelect and put UsrAA1 as the only member, set GrpAA2 as the OutOfService destination and set grpAA2 as the Night Service destinantion.
Create a time table and add it to group AASelect.

In the Incoming call Route set group AASelect as the destination.
Within the time profiel calls go to AA1, out of hours the calls gor to AA2.
Create two shortcodes to enable/disable OOS of group AASelect.

Now when group AASelect is InService the calls go to AA1, when the group is in Night Service calls go to AA2, this is normal daily operation.
If to close early then they can put the group AASelect in Out Of Service and the calls go to AA2.

I hope you get teh idea, in R9.1 it would be a lot easier...

well i think this is a pretty good idea, i will test it!! Thansk a lot

intrigrant solution is far more versatile and elegant.

We do it this way, it is not a Shortcode and you would need access to the VMPro Client. In our AA VM Call Flow we have a Condition for if it is a Holiday Day or not. If the Calendar says it is a Holiday, then the Night AA plays saying we are closed. On the Days we are not on Holiday and want to Leave Early, I just go in at the time we want to leave then select today as a Holiday. From then on till tomorrow it plays the Night AA.

Now if there was a Shortcode to mark 'today' as a Holiday, that would be sweet! Maybe I could use the DB Integration and have it done from the Intranet Website.

In VMPro it is not that difficult. But OP has only embedded...

I personally don't like AA with embedded Voicemail.

Embedded VM covers 90% of all customer needs so why pay more while it is there.

I totally agree. I was only talking about embedded AA and within AA the missing option to set up a fallback target if the caller doesn't send DTMF or presses the wrong keys. I know it is possible to set it up in ICR but that doesn't help if AA us an internal forwarding destination. That is the only but for me most important point because callers can get kicked out very easy.
