Our customer has A Shortel system with SIP extensions
Fanvil i31s SIP registered to system ext5501
Fanvil X7 video phone registered to system ext 5502
Local desk Shoretel Phone ext 5503
All SIP extensions register on the system.
If the intercom calls the Shoretel phone, it rings, picks up and audio is heard both ways.
If the X7 phone calls the Shoretel phone, it rings, picks up and audio is heard both ways.
If the X7 phone calls the intercom by extension number, it rings, picks up and audio is heard both ways but NO video
If the X7 phone calls the intercom by IP Address, it rings, picks up and audio is heard both ways and video DOES work.
If the intercom calls the X7 by extension number, the phone rings, the intercom has ringback but when you pick up NO audio and No Video & the intercom continues with ringback.
If you hangup while the intercom is still active, then the X7 will ring again with no Audio Video or call completion.
It appears that Shoretel is stripping the header information or it has something to do with routing.
This system is ran from a central location and tied with point to point. Location prefix is 141-Extension number
Tried all combination with and without prefix as communication is for 1 site only.
