hello all. We have group policies rolled out to hundreds of different OU's which utilize folder redirection in group policy for start menu redirection. Each redirection has the same design in that each group gets two shortcuts add to their respective application. All redirection folders reside on the domain controller in a shared folder. Recently and randomly the shortcuts have been losing their target info. The shortcut becomes just a generic windows icon and we have to continues add the information to properties of the icon to reestablish shortcut. I have yet to find any rhyme or reason; symptoms occur with clients on different terminal server and with shortcuts pointing to several different database servers. All the shortcuts have UNC pathing and have been running fine universally for years. Anyone out there ever heard of such a thing? Also there is no particular event logged in any of the servers' event viewers. Thanks for any help or guidance. -vescetec
