ShortCut Menu Bar: Save As/Export Disabled!!!??

Help...

I have created a Shortcut menu bar in Access 97 which is to allow a user to use the save as/export facility for a report. (So that they can export the Report into Excel etc). However when I convert the database to an Mde the Save as/export shortcut is disabled.

Surely their must be some way as using this "save as/export" facility in an Mde database on a report.

Does any one know what is going on with this.

I need the save as/export, and I need it in an MDE database, to use on a report.

Please help.
