I want to insert a UP ARROW symbol in my report. does anybody know what is the shortcut key for this.

There are several fonts that have an up arrow character. Wingdings itself has several. If you post your email address I can email you a little report I created that prompts you for a Font name and outputs an character map (ASCII 0-225) for that font with the character and it's corresponding Chr() value.

It's not hard to write a basic explorer. I did it with a formula field that says

chr(recordnumber)

Paste it as a detailed line. For any given font, this runs through everything. Do several columns in different fonts and see what you get.

Also remember that stuff that looks fine on the screen may look different on a printed report.

Insert a Textobject in the report and type h. Then set the font as Wingdings 3.
