shortcut for using stationary

Is there any way to add a custom button so I can click it to use stationary rather than going into the actions and then tools... ?

Use the Domino Designer. You'll have to learn a bit about programming and a bit about the interface, but nothing extensive for what you want - actually a bit of cut and paste will do.
But you need the Designer client.
