Hello,
i have a remote party that has a welcome message and enforce user to put the extension number.
i want to have a short code for example 6XX so when user dial it.. it will dail 6 then wait for 1 sec then put 6xx to transfer a call with out make the user put the number again.
any suggest?
thanks.

with digital trunks you can create a shortcode that has the Y or D character as well as a comma in the telephone number string

looking kinda like this
6xx
dial
6Y6N
line ID

or the TN is
6D6N
or
6Y,6N
or
6D,6N
or
6,6N

you have to play around with it to find the version that works for your line and your release. You can also double up (or more of them) on the commas

with analog trunks there is no supervision on when the call is connected and you would have to put a lot of commas in until you find the amount that works for you.
