SHORTCODE to dial mobile phones 1

Customer is asking to set short code for speed dialing so that when they dial the short code the system should dial that mobile number.
I set like this but its not working.

Your'e dialling the 9, you don't need to

Spot ON... that was the issue ...removed it and working like a charm!!

On older firmware (3.0, 4.2. 5.0) when dialling the shortcode and the name of the number was in the directory it would display on the phone/phone manager.
Now on 9.0/9.1 it doesn't do this.
