In a shared Access database I have a form with a date field. When data is entered from an Win2K machine it works fine. When it is enterered from an XP machine it reformats the date to american style MM/DD/YYYY. Rather than DD/MM/YYYY. The locale on the XP machine is set to English, short date format is set correctly. What on earth can be wrong?

Thanks in advance.

Jason

Check your Regional Settings in Control Panel. It's probably set for American.

I have already checked. I could understand it if that was the case but everything is set correctly. Even the short date sample in regional settings is displayed correctly. Can't think what could be causing it.
