Short Code for VM Pro 1

i have a customer that has an events box that changes each month, can i create a short code that would let them change that message and make it save and be live? IPO 500v2 with VM Pro 8.0

Sure, it is the first action in the miscelanous menu. I cant remeber the name of that action.
It aneables to record any choosen wav file somewere in the WAVS directory of VM Pro.
I always have this setup for special days like Christmas or whatever celebration day so the customer can change the greeting depending on the day it is used.

It is called an "edit playlist" action.
An we also build this in by default.
Saves a lot of hassle.

nothing under miscellaneous for edit playlist, so i looked through everything in short codes as well as button programming but couldnt find edit playlist?

you create a short code on the IPO which points to a module - Edit playlist - Name of WAV File.

no i havent messed around with vm pro that much but ive got our demo unit open now and ive created a SC and pulled the "Main Greeting" module into it. I've only set up simple greetings and a leave option in ours for a night button; other than that ive installed one UCM which i had major issues with the audio stopping but both the VM Pro and OneX services still show running when i logged into webcontrol. Anyway thats another issue, anyway you can show an example of the short code in the IPO that points to the events.wav real quick? I know this isnt the place to come and learn how to completely program something but it would be nice to not have to login to the vm each time they want to change a greeting.

ok i see what is going on now. i create a new module and what i name it is where i point my SC in the IPO then that is where i put my edit playlist and then click on the .wav file i want to be changed. So i just record something in the menu saying press 1 to record the events, press 2 for the main greeting, etc... Cool deal thx for the info and sry if i aggravated anyone with that question.
