Any of you ShoreTel guys done a plain T1 TIE to an NEC 2400? - would love to hear your settings - posted this earlier to the NEC page as well - any insight would be greatly appreciated!
Calling on the old NEC heads!!! Well, about 10 years and 3 laptops later I need to remember how to set up a plain T1 tie (24DTR to an SGT1K) for 4 digit dialing between an R11 NEC 2400 and a ShoreTel - nothing fancy, no caller ID - just simply 4 digit dialing - I'm mainly looking for the DPSW and ARTD - I've tried quite a few settings and while the channels will idle up the ShoreTel side will hunt channels w/ dead air when accessed (I can see it hitting the channels on the 2400 too)- the NEC gets a "rest" in the display - I'm sure it's signaling. I unfortunately dont have a spare PRI card for the NEC - I know that would be the better route (No pun intended) - Any assistance would be GREATLY appreciated!
