Shopping cart systems

Hello all-

My boss has decided that he wants to buy an online shopping cart program and has asked me to do some research.

What I am wondering is what programs people have worked with and their ease of setup, maintence, ect. This way I have some names that the industry thinks are good to use as a start point for my more in depth research.

oscommerce is a very great tool
I used it many times.

To dev oneself such a tool
will end in the low to med 6 figures

further it comes FREE
worth to run a nix server!
