Hey all!

First off, I just pieced together my first real CGI script which is a shopping cart. We have 2 e-commerce sites to finish and I'm looking for examples of CGI shopping carts to interact with Key/Society Banks' BUY button to be directly integrated with our clients merchant accounts. I'm waiting on the bank to give me their source code and wanted to do my homework in the meantime. These two ARE going to be CGI so any input as to scripts or examples would be awesome.

Second, we are working on a rather large mortgage company's website with numerous online calculators constantly matching current interest rates. We JUST started this project. What language would you recommend for the online calculators to be written in? I'm more comfortable with CGI and have run into problems with VBS or JS working correctly every time. I myself am not experienced with ASP but we do support it since some people working with me use it often. This needs to be very stable and easily updated for obvious reasons. Once we have the basic site built, any person logging onto the site will be able to process a home mortage online. This will be done by importing the potential clients information into the mortgage companies software where the mortgage will then be processed. Their software uses scripting for data values which should import no problem. I may be back once we reach that point. I haven't done that on the web but I have done some database conversions and wrote scripts for proprietary software to import database values. Which is the same concept only off the web instead of a network, or so I only assume. Once again, any tips would be welcomed. Have a great day, in fact, have serveral.
