I'm running Windows XP with Firefox browser; I need to have the latest Shockwave player (10). Downloaded install file from macromedia. After install, it said I needed to restart.

Shockwave player never worked. I get only a blank screen; no errors, just nothing.

Macromedia site says you don't need to restart computer. Search for extra installs of dirapi.dll and iml32.dll, but I don't have any. Then it says to uninstall and install from standalone install. I did that.

Problem is still occuring. What do I do?

By the way, IE isn't an option. It's totally dead. Not just shockwave, the whole stupid browser.

I appreciate any help!
