I have 4 Shockwave movie links on a web page. When anyone clicks to view just one, it works fine. But if a person hits the back button and selects another, it ALWAYS causes a GPF error and crashes IE. It doesn't matter what order you select the movies in (a person could select the 4th movie, view it fine - go back - and select the 1st movie link and it will crash).

I have tried unloading the movie with a quit button, but it doesn't fix the problem. I am using Director8 and all of the people who have tested it did so with the newest shockwave viewer plugin.

Thanks in advance for any ideas!

Bish

My suggestion is to combine all those movies into one in FLASH. That or offer a back button on the second pages so the visitor could return that way. Plus if your using cookies you might want to check them out.

Hope this helped,
Todd
<img src=
