Shockwave hides drop down menu

I have produced a web banner in Director and exported as a shockwave file. Embedded the file into Dreamweaver but I have a fireworks drop down menu above so the menu gets hidden by the shockwave file. I have tried using the parameter vmode and transparent method used to get around this like in flash, but don't work... (Only a Windows problem, Mac it's fine?!)

Any other ideas? ;(
