Hi all,

I want to create shockwaves coming of a circle (to the right). I have tried a few times by using circles; making the next one bigger and then erasing the parts I don't want. This way, I find, is getting close but not quite getting the effect I am after as they don't "grow out" consistently!

Does anyone have any ideas how to do this and make it look effective? This is for a new company logo so need to be pretty perfect.

Thanx in advance

Try using the circle selection tool, then using the Transform selection command (in 'select' at the top), don't transform freehand but type in the required size and shape of each new shockwave in the tools options bar at the top, this will make sure that each new 'wave will be 'x'times larger than the other.(if you click to keep aspect ratio then the selection will radiate from the center of the original selection... I don't know if this will help but have a go anyway.

Barehug, I will keep in mind what you have said. I always do this freehand but will now try using your method...
