Shipping using Service Connect

Hi,
We're implementing Epicor 9 and need a method to auto ship non-qty parts. Using Service Connect I can create an order and line(s). But when I come to Ship (CustShip.UpdateExt) I just get an error: "Cannot add a shipping line".
I have also tried counter sales but no luck so far.
Has anyone anywhere used Service Connect to create a Customer Shipment record?
