Whenever the users create a shipment in inventory control and the available quantity changes after you enter a long list of items (ex you had 50 eggs available you orderd 49, another user post an order for 2 which lefts 48 available) and you try to post the shipment its gives the error but does not allow you to change it. What it does is erase all the data entered and returns to the screen for you to start a new shipment.

Is there a fix that can be applied to solve this problem.

Thanks

Is that purchase order entry, as there is no order entry in shipment.

Would be great if we had that, using accpac 5.3a and it does not have that module, the company probably did not buy that module.

Then there's not much you can do. The I/C Shipments UI is meant to be lean and mean. You might be better off entering them in an Excel speadsheet, and importing when you're done.

You can save the shipment before posting it, that way it will not get lost in the event you do not have sufficient stock on hand.
