Shipment from Different Location

We have more then 1 loctions to ship from. For eg. we recored an order from location 1 but the shipment is done from another location 2. We can select location at shipment header tag but cant not change location at the detail level. in this case shipment is done from location 1 where the order was recorded.
we want to do shipments from different locations irespective of the order location.

Ship from the order screen, then you can change the location.

The finder is not working seems the location field on detail line is disabled, can't change the location. Can change in the header field but does't have any effect on shipment.

It works fine on my screen, as long as nothing has been shipped from that line.

Yes found it, but it workes only 1 time if we have to make multiple shipments on a single order it does't work. We are not doing one time shipments but have multiple shipmenst against an order.

Yep, that's the way it works, and it makes perfect sense to me. You'll have to add multiple lines to the order for each location.

ohh ok, but that way the whole order schedule goes heywhile. is any third party solution or will a macro help....

You could try a macro, but you'll be breaking core business logic, I have no idea what it would do to data integrity.

Macros will not change the business logic, been there....
