Hi

I want to represent a resource calendar whose shift crosses the midnight line. For example, a team works a 12 hour shift starting at 7pm and finishes at 7am next morning.

When I try this, I am told that the shift finish time must be later than the shift start time. This is because it is interpreting these to fall on the same day.

I have tried breaking up the shifts, using non default work hours, a 24 hour format but always hit the same problem.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Tools | Change working time
Click on the "new" button
Name the calendar "Overnight"
Click on the "M" (for Monday)
Hold down the Control key and click on "T", "W", "Th" and "F"
(All Mon-Friday columns should be black and selected)
Click on the radio button "Working time"
In the first row of times enter: "12:00AM" and "7:00AM" <<-- note: "AM" both times
In the second row of times enter: "7:00PM" and "12:00AM" <<-- note: "PM" then "AM"
Click on "OK".
