Hi,
I finished creating my movie. There is a photo, which is a movie clip. This movie dissolves into a new photo and then another new photo and then loops.

It looks nice, but each photo shifts a little (left and right) when the movie is running.

I made sure to place the photos exactly in the same position down to the pixel, using the "info" panel.

Does anyone know how to get rid of this bug?

you can't...i've seen it happen in the best flash sites built by the best flash designers..it is definatly a bug and one i gave up on..

That's terrible...it looks bad.

It might not be doing this all the time...it may depend on the browser and computer etc....

On this site, ( you select the english option, a window pops of with changing photos...they don't shift at all...i don't know how they did it.

yeh bro i guess it just depends on how you do it..but the way your are doing it, i have had the same problem before..i'm surethere is a work around..but one i just cared not to pursue..

like i said i've even seen that on the best flash sites around..but one thing you will have to remember..most people won't notice!

I found that if you make the last frame of the change 99% rather than 100% it stops the jump. you do notice may notice a slight differnce because of it being of less transparancy, but if you put another of the same image underneath on the last frame at 100% it fixes this problem. hope this helps

wow...

i'm definitely going to try it out..

thanks for the tip...your the best!

Hi

hey, I tried that out and it didn't work...my photos are still shifting. Are you sure that is all you did?

i think the problem is just when you use movie clips. wre the layers to be in the original movie...the problem would disappear.

actually...all the photos stopped shifting, except the otiginal photo that I had converted into the movie clip. I'm not sure how to fix this photo though.

NOW...I changed even the original movie clip to 99% and the shifting stopped!

well thats good to know...thanks chaplain..

Flash needs to work on eliminating this bug.
