Hi helper,
We have a VB App and we want to change our db system from Access to sql server.
One big client of us has Oracle db system and we will need to adapt our product to him.
We don't want to do a regular migration because we will need to double our code if changes will be made in the future(sql and Oracle). What is the minimum changes that we will need to do in order to work with sql server and oracle?
If there will be changes in the stored procedures for example will it be difficult to make the changes in Oracle system?
Long question, sorry but I'm green in db, I'm just a common programmer.
Thank you
Yossi

I answered this already in the Oracle 8 and 8i Forum
