Hi all,

I have a rather large deployment of Radiant touch screen pos terminals runing XP Pro. We have been having a problem which seems to be shift getting stuck on. So when the user inputs a "1" an "!" gets inputed into this system, etc.

It can be fixed by bringing up the On Screen Keyboard and hitting shift or reboot the POS.
Does anyone know how to input a shift by tapping or sliding on the touch screen? and how turn it off?

We use Radiants and I have not seen that issue.

Could the issue be with your on-screen keyboard software? Is this on-screen keyboard part of the POS software, is it the windows keyboard, or is it a third party?
Not that the answers to those questions will help me very much, but the anwers may help the next person who responds.

In the programming world of windows, you have to send a WM_KEYDOWN and then a WM_KEYUP message to the os. Sounds like a bug in the software!
