Each time I try to install SP3 on my new NT Server 4.0 computer, I get an error message about the "shell32.dll file is corrupt" and won't load. The only way to get past the dialog box is to select "skip". I get a STOP error on reboot regarding a checkum error. This happens repeatedly on this machine. If I put the SP3 CD in a Win9x machine, I can read/copy the file using explorer or dos, so I don't think the file is corrupted. Any help would be appreciated.

Do you get the same results with later service packs?

I'd recommend at least service pack 4, although 6a is the latest.

What drivers are listed in the STOP message? (ie the last 5 or 6, not the entire list!

What is the STOP message? The address?
