Hey. In order to print to an old DOS printer from a Win VB program I wrote a Turbo Pascal print spooler (due to font compatibility problems) that I run from the Shell command in VB. The Turbo Pascal program aborts when trying to open LPT1, yet if I run the program directly from a Command prompt (not in VB) it runs fine. I know this is bizarre, but thought I'd post in case anyone has run across anything like this.

Does ShellExecute have significant differences than using the Shell command inside of VB?
