I have a 3.11 PC that logins into a Novell server to run an interface.

If I boot the PC up it comes up: Connection to preferred server can not be established - Shell 332-24

This is the wierd part usually if I do a Ctrl-Alt-Del then it comes up. Or if I do an F8 and go step by step through the autoexec it always comes up.

It just start doing this and I can't figure out why if I turn it off it comes up with this shell error but if I do an F8 and step through it, it comes up.

Any ideas??

Thanks

Sounds like its booting to quickly and might be some sort of delay in making connection to the Server.

when you do the F8 and step through each command, you are giving whatever it is that is being delayed, enough time to handle the request.

You maight want to try putting some puse statements into your batch files to allow for some extra time.

Good Luck!
