Sheets in a spreadsheet

I have a staged DTS i.e. it makes a server connection runs some sql puts results into spreadsheet on success creates new connection same server runs some sql puts into excel(same file but different sheet)....

I have looked at ActiveX scripts for dynamically creating the spreadsheet but I haven't as yet seen anyone manipulate sheets inside the file, is this possible?

* If anyone can recommend a better method of performing the DTS is would be appreciated.
