shdoc401.dll Error

Hi,

I have a user that updated Internet Explorer from IE 5.5 with SP2 to IE 6 in Windows 98 with SP2. When he logs on the LAN, after the script connects him to all of our virtual drives and downloads the current virus pattern from Trend (OfficeScan), he gets the following message.

Performed illegal operation, exporer caused invalid page fault in module shdoc401.dll at 017F: 50005462.
If I click ok, the screen goes entirely blank.

How do I fix it?

Check the version of the .dll against this database...

It may be corrupt.

Get rid of IE 6 altogether--it is full of bugs.
