I'm working Winfax vers. 10 ACT vers. 6 on a 2000 Server network. We need the ability for Winfax to store the fax in a particular ACT contact record (not My Record) and then view that fax from any PC on the network within Act.

Using Winfax vers. 10, I tested this environment and received the following results: Once faxed, the document attaches itself to your "My record" and the path to that faxed document is the C:\ drive. The PC who faxed that document can pull it up & view it in Act notes & history. However, anyone else on the network can see that something was faxed in the Sender's My Record, but cannot double click it & view.
In ACT, under Preferences there are controls for where you want to store your data (databases, documents, templates, e-mails, etc.) but nothing on where to store Winfax faxes. There seems to be no controls within Winfax to specify what drive location the faxes will reside.

Please Advise,

Alan
