Sharing Windows

I have a problem in networking Windows XP. I cannot share my windows or progamme folder because it says its an integral part of windows and the sharing box you cannot tick. Any ideas on how to enable sharing of these folders?

Right, Windows folder itself can't be shared as it is protecting itself. It's not a problem but a feature/security issue. Same with Program Files folder. You can share the drive and most other folders on it.

Some say it can't be done some say it can be done. Reading the material in these links I tend to favour "can be done" but I'll leave that up to you to tell us "yes" or "no".
