I'm not exactly sure if this is the best place to post this or not, however I have this problem. I have these pages that were created in Excel. Once created in excel they were saved as web pages. I have a share set up on the server that allows for a person to publish these pages to the web page whenever she makes the changes to the excel pages. However if someone had just gone into that page, it locks it up and will not allow her to delete it or to save a different copy over it. The person who opened it could have gotten out of it already and it is still locked up.
If I go to the server I can delete the file. There has to be something that triggers it that it is in use. Does anyone know how I can get this so that it unlocks and she can delete the file or change the file from the share instead of me having to go to the server and delete it so that she can make these changes?
Thanks,
Sandy
